An original concept of space. A daring
play of volumes. The Palau de Congressos de Peñíscola
combines architectural rigour, cuttingedge design and functional
efficiency. A new space for dialogue. A new place to meet.
PEÑÍSCOLA
More in the sea than on the land.
A town on and almost in the Mediterranean. Beautiful and welcoming.
Peñíscola sits on a rock sticking out from the
sea and crowned by an splendid Templar castle. It is connected
to terra firma through a labyrinth of twisting cobbled alleyways
of white houses inside the old town walls.
Beyond the little isthmus, the town extends nearly twenty
kilometres up and down the coast. To the North, a long beach
of fine sand. To the south, secluded beaches set among the
rough cliffs of Serra d’Irta.
A TOWN IN THE SEA
Peñíscola is located in the north of the Valencian
Community, in the Province of Castellón. Well communicated
by land, sea and air, its motorway and rail connections are
part of the so-called Mediterranean Corridor, the busy axis
of communication between Europe and North Africa. The town’s
hotel and leisure facilities rank among the best in the whole
of the Costa del Azahar.
